Ice Hockey News:

Detroit Red Wings sweep Anaheim. Goes to show you that you need much more than 1 line and decent defense to win in the playoffs.

Buffalo Sabres sweep the 2nd best team in the Eastern Conference. Ottawa is either too young, or too European.

Toronto Maple Leafs stand strong against the Philadelphia Flyers and win the series in 7 games.

Pittsburgh Penguins get Jagr and the bunch rolling to oust the New Jersey Devils in game 7. Martin Straka for mayor!

Dallas Stars sweep Edmonton but in reality every game could've been won by the Oilers. Sad to see this one end up 4-0 Dallas.

Colorado Avalance fend off the charging San Jose Sharks in 6 games. I must say they really got lucky in this one.

Phoenix Coyotes and St. Louis Blues in progress in game 7 of their rather entertaining series. Roenick's back! Should be another good one.

Boston Bruins defeat the Carolina Hurricanes in 6 games, but the real tragedy was the death of #3 Steve Chiasson, Defenseman for Carolina. He was killed in a one-car wreck 5 minutes from his home.
